After redshirting as a Freshman at Notre Dame, Matthias Farley rose in the ranks to starter in 2012 before ultimately being drafted into the NFL.
In two recent articles, one published on Stampede Blue and one on One Foot Down, Matthias discussed his relationship with Hunter Perret through the Joyce Grants-in-Aid program at Notre Dame. Perret attended several of Matthias’s games, motivating him when he was down and inspiring him both on and off the field. To this day, they remain close and in contact on a regular basis.
